Unofficial reports suggest the death of King Salman of Saudi Arabia following long years of ailment and failure to deliver his duties as the king.

Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the king of Saudi Arabia, has reportedly lost his life at the age of 86. The report is yet to be confirmed by official local media in Saudi Arabia.

The reports about the death of King Salman has not been unprecedented in recent year. This might cast suspicions about the news while further details can clarify the truth.

King Salman has taken grip on power in Saudi Arabia in 2015 following the death of King Abdullah. He has been the Crown Prince for three years before ascending to power in Riyadh.

Due to physical inabilities, new Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman has been the de-facto ruler of the country since 2015. His grasp on power followed a series of crackdowns on other royal family members in 2015 and 2016.

Bin Salman overhauled the monarchy in recent years with new wave of apparently modernist policies. King Salman was 80 when he took power from his brother.

The royal family has remained silent over the health condition of King Salman further fueling the speculations over his death. Further updates will be followed and published immediately.
