Muslim Brotherhood has secured a haven in the British conservative party. A leaked document says UK received 4 million Dollars in financial support from UAE.
A fresh leaked document reveals details about a confidential cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the British conservative party. The document is a correspondence between Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emiraty Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in form of a report.
The UAE and the United Kingdom, according to the report, maintain a deep collaboration on the Muslim Brotherhood. Besides, the Conservatives in UK have close links to the Muslim Brotherhood, which aided the party in the election process.
The British security services have employed the Muslim Brotherhood to exert influence and pressure on Middle Eastern governments. In return, the Brotherhood rallied Muslim voters to support party candidates in the elections. British Prime Minister will most potentially press the House of Commons to conduct a policy review.
According to the report, the United Kingdom is the largest foreign direct investor in the UAE. As with the three islands under seizure, the UK is also the most vocal supporter of Abu Dhabi.
The British authorities are also concentrating on Qatari activities in the UK, according to the report. Those who fund mosques and religious facilities are most under concentration. Promoters of hatred from the terrorist Brotherhood’s leaders use these centers as haven.
Qatari institutions in the United Kingdom have adjusted their operations to escape exposure by investigations or the media. An example is Qatari Trust Foundation which rebranded itself as Nectar Trust in order to conceal its ties with Doha.
The document indicates a relationship between Nectar Trust and funding terrorist projects affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood in the United Kingdom and France.
UK and UAE; Beyond Muslim Brotherhood
The UK and the UAE enjoy collaboration on other spheres too. This includes the UAE-UK extradition agreement, and the agreement on the transfer of convicted offenders.
The report explicates a meeting between Brandon Lewis, then-British Minister of State for Security, with Emirati counterpart. Lewis, a prominent member of the Conservative party, has most potentially brokered the ties with the Muslim Brotherhood.
As with Hezbollah, the British government plans to blacklist the Lebanese group’s military and political divisions completely. This is due to the fact that the party is a positive force in the Middle East when it comes to instability.
The backlash against Hezbollah seems to have its roots under an influence by Israel. The document reveals secret security and political cooperation with Israel in form of a tripartite model.
The document, which has been sealed as “confidential”, provides details about a cooperation between UAE, UK and Israel. The so-called tripartite joint committee focuses mainly on Yemen, in whose war the UAE has been involved for years.
The UAE and UK has had cooperation on further issues like the way to contain the Houthi movement in Yemen. Houthi strikes against Saudi Arabia, and recently Emirati targets, have comprised a major part of the cooperation. The two sides, along with Israel, also assessed the role of Iran in regional developments and discussed how to deal with it.
The bilateral ties between UAE and UK also included other regions like Libya. Overall, the UK received $4 million from Abu Dhabi to proceed with the plans they agreed on.
British Conservative party has proved to have the main role in the bid to exert influence in the Middle East. The revealed document shows that reinforcing terrorism has been part of the grand plan.
