Saudi Arabia stated yesterday that Israeli takeover of a Golan Heights buffer zone indicates its intent to undermine Syria’s attempts to regain peace. During the past few days, the Israeli military claimed to have advanced to the buffer zone in order to safeguard Israeli interests.
