According to the armed forces of Iran, Saturday strikes by Israel on military installations claimed the lives of two troops. Tel Aviv had earlier declared that it had finished the strike and issued a warning against any reprisals.
It was shortly after the midnight on Saturday that the Israeli air force attacked Iranian military installations. IDF claimed that a series of assaults in the area by the Islamic Republic and its allies prompted the strikes. The Israel Defense Forces claimed to have finished its attacks and met its goals a few hours after the start of the strikes.
Following the assaults on its territory, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared that Tehran has the legal right and obligation to safeguard its soil and people against hostile activities from outside. According to an announcement from Iran’s air defence command, facilities in three different provinces in the centre and west of the country were struck.
Although some places had minimal destruction, the assessment of full scope of the damages is still being investigated, the statement stated. No early signs of damage to nuclear or petroleum locations were found. Additionally, Iran stated that it is prepared to retaliate against any Israeli invasion.
Although Tel Aviv struck several targets inside the country, Tehran was the primary objective of the attacks. Multiple military zones in Western and Southern Tehran were the target of Saturday attack by Israel.
End the Cycle of Bloodshed
According to Iranian Civil Aviation Organization (CAO), flights have resumed their regular schedule nationwide. There were no attacks on Iran’s main airports including the ones in the capital. The Iranian administration and its regional militias have been bombing Israel nonstop since October 7, according to a declaration earlier made by Israeli military spokesperson.
In order to end an endless round of bloodshed, the US encouraged Tehran to cease targeting Israel in the wake of the fresh assaults by Israel.

Israel’s reaction was a self-defense drill that skirted populous regions and only targeted military objectives, US National Security Council spokesman claimed. It is American goal to expedite dialogue and settle hostilities in the region,” Savett added, emphasizing that the United States was not involved in the Israeli mission.
Following Hamas assault on Israel more than a year ago, hostilities between Tel Aviv and Tehran, longtime adversaries, have increased. Since then, the former’s attack on Gaza has resulted in over 42,000 fatalities and 100,000 injuries.
