About al-Khulaifi’s recognition, neither the CIA nor the Qatari national Security Agency have released an announcement. The United States Air Force’s installation at Al-Udeid is located in Qatar, and both countries have a long-standing partnership.
Tenet had led the Central Intelligence Agency for nearly eight years throughout two different presidential administrations: George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. He played a leading role in the nation’s military incursions into Iraq and Afghanistan in the early years of the twenty-first century.
During the Years, Qatar has been planning to introduce itself as a political mediator in the Middle East. Avoiding to involve in any of the regional conflicts and confrontations, the country has been able to have an engagement in resolving the tensions and mitigating the escalations.
