Latest polls show that educated people in the US favor voting Trump than Biden in the upcoming presidential election, a trend that could exacerbate for Biden after recent pro-Palestinian protests in US universities.
According to the results of a recently conducted poll by the News Week, Donald Trump is the preferred candidate over current President Joe Biden among voters with high and average education in the United States.
“Trump leads Biden among those with a high school education (49-51 percent), those with an associate’s degree (46-54 percent), and college graduates or higher (47-53 percent),” the poll said.
This is despite the fact that according to a CNN poll conducted ahead of the 2020 election, 55% of college graduates voted for Biden back then.
In addition, Trump has an advantage over Biden among rural voters (32-68 percent), while the current US president leads among urban voters (35-64 percent). Biden also slightly leads Trump among young voters between 18 and 29 (52 percent to 48 percent) and those 65 and older (51 percent to 49 percent).
Instead, Trump is the preferred candidate for the next American presidency among 30-49-year-olds (55-45%) as well as among 50-64-year-olds (57-43%).
Things could get worse for Biden!
Biden’s decreasing popularity among the educated population of the US, which was clearly showed by the results of the abovementioned poll, is only the tip of the iceberg for the current White House resident.
To read between the lines, it is highly expected that the state of Biden’s voting base, especially among the educated and young people in America, will decrease significantly if a new poll is carried out today. This is because the poll by News Week was conducted just a few days before the start of the wave of anti-Israeli protests in universities across the United States.
When the anti –Israeli protests in the US universities started last month, the US police restored to unprecedented violence in facing the protestors, arresting thousands of university students and even many university professors. Videos showing the brutal use of force by the US police to knock down protestors were in fact like the last nail in Biden’s coffin.
This simply means that after the violence crack down of the young educated Americans across the country who demonstrated for days in support for Palestine, a much larger percentage of Americans will vote for Trump simply because they disagree with Biden.
Since the start of the war in Gaza back on October 7, the Biden administration has fully taking Israel’s side, supplying Tel Aviv with weapons, money, and political support.
