More than five months after the war in Gaza, reports now reveal that Israel is hiding truths about its casualties in the north front, nor can it achieve any of its goals in the war, including the elimination of Hamas.
More than five months have passed from the war between Hamas and Israel, with over 32,000 Palestinians being killed by Israeli air and ground attacks on the Palestinian lands. At the same time, Israel has also been grappling with another battle in its northern front with Hezbollah.
When the war started back on October 7, Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowed to hit Hamas where it hurts and declared that the Israeli military will not cease the war until the complete elimination of Hamas.
Now, however, it seems the tables have turned for Israel and new reports suggest that the Netanyahu government has achieved none of its goals in the war. In addition, other reports have revealed that Israel is hiding the true number of casualties of Israeli soldiers.
A report by the Cradle that was published this Thursday revealed that since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, “more than 230 Israeli soldiers have been killed by Hezbollah fighters in cross-border operations against the occupation state.”
This number of dead soldiers from the Israeli part reveals a harsh truth that Hezbollah has achieved parity in the number of forces killed by both sides during the past six months of war between Israel and the Lebanese resistance group.
What makes matters way worse for the Israeli military is that the two forces, namely Hezbollah and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are not at all comparable in different terms.
“Given that relatively poorly armed and usually outnumbered popular resistance forces should never achieve a 1:1 ratio against high-tech, heavily weaponized colonialist and neo-colonialist forces of Israel, this equal number of casualties is a disaster for the IDF,” the report also noted.
Israel fears the truth, Hezbollah doesn’t!
Another considerable fact about the Israel-Hezbollah war and their casualties is that while Hezbollah openly announces how many of its forces have been killed by Israel and honors the martyrdoms of each and every fallen fighter by disclosing both name and number, the Israeli military is doing the opposite. In fact, Israel tightly controls and keeps secret the information regarding its casualties in the war and even downplays the numbers as well as losses to its infrastructure.
“Recent reports suggest 258 Hezbollah fighters have been killed since 8 October, while Israel has claimed only 10 fatalities among its forces – a highly improbable figure given Hezbollah’s extensive dissemination of war footage showing its Israeli troop targeting operations,” the report further said.
Israel can’t achieve war goals anymore!
while Israel still tries to hide harsh truths about the war with Hamas and Hezbollah, a report by The Telegraph published this Thursday revealed that Israel can’t reach any of the goals of the war anymore.
“Israeli intelligence officials believe that the government’s stated goal to “eradicate Hamas” in the Gaza Strip has become unachievable after the US turned its back on Tel Aviv by abstaining during a UN Security Council (UNSC) vote earlier this week,” the report said.
Speaking to the British daily, one Israeli intelligence official said that “If you’d asked me this a month ago, I would definitely say yes [we can eliminate Hamas] because, at that time, the Americans were backing Israel. But this assessment has now changed.”
