The cruel assault that Israel has been waging on Gaza is the result of a long line of illegal practices, and it might ultimately prove to be disastrous and bring about the fall of the apartheid system of “Jewish State.”

However, Israel’s colonial heritage shaped its actions at all times. It missed several chances to put a finish to its colonization and coexist peacefully with its neighbors. In the words of the notorious Israeli politician Abba Eban, Israel “never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity.”
It intensified its colonization efforts in the seized Palestinian areas rather than terminating to its occupancy. A twofold system—a superior, dominant for the Jews and an inferior for the Palestinians—has been created as a result of the proliferation of illegal Jewish settlements and settlers on confiscated Palestinian property, have been interconnected through dedicated bypass highways and other development initiatives.
Apartheid System
