The authorities in Bahrain are so intransigent in releasing prisoners of conscience after the dangerous epidemic of Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
Since late May, Bahrainis have been living in great anxiety due to the outbreak of the contagious tuberculosis epidemic in the regime’s prisons.
Despite the restrictions imposed on the right to demonstrate and the continuous prosecution of demonstrators, hardly a day goes by without people taking to the streets calling for the immediate and unconditional release of prisoners of conscience.
Besides, thousands are participating in a cyber-solidarity campaign via Twitter, amid widespread fear of casualties due to rampant medical negligence.
For decades, infectious diseases have been eating away at the bodies of prisoners of conscience in Bahrain, including human rights activists, politicians, media professionals, and clerics, amid deliberate medical neglect and denial of medication and immediate treatment, which is widely manipulated as a form of reprisal, clear revenge, persecution, and deliberate intransigence.
The Bahraini regime treats opponents as hostages, deprives them of their rights, sentences them to life imprisonment, revokes their nationality, and tortures them, in the absence of transparency and the spread of impunity policy.
Although Bahrain is a tiny country; however, almost no Bahraini has experienced political imprisonment, which indicates the great seclusion between the people and the authority.
Citizens enter the prisons safe and got released with a wide range of ailments, impairments, or permanent diseases.
Some of them have passed away inside the prison while others after being released following a lengthy treatment journey.
On the other hand, the authority claims that it has no political prisoners and denies the violations exposed by international reports.
The government insists on arresting these peaceful prisoners and their only guilt is that they demand legitimate human rights, guaranteed by international laws and legislation.
The families insist on demanding freedom and justice, and pressure to save their beloved ones and rid them of death chambers, stressing that they are being arbitrarily detained and that they were tried based on confessions extracted under brutal torture.
Further, the king repeatedly claims to have succeeded in the so-called “reform project,” but the dire human rights reality, rampant corruption, and blatant tyranny belie the falsehood of these calls.
Bahrain Oppression amid Tuberculosis
What is happening in Bahrain is a single rule, tribal barbarism, lies, fabrication, discrimination, and dictatorship, and the most heinous is reconciliation with the enemy of the nation, i.e. the Zionist apartheid regime, an imminent danger that threatens the security of not only the people of Bahrain but also the peoples of the entire region.
A vessel regime that fabricated false scenarios, and makes false and arbitrary accusations against Iran, day and night. It is not Iran, nor the oppressed people, who threaten the security of the peoples of the region, but these puppet regimes.
Because of its reckless and hypocritical policies, the Bahrainis endure different crises, chiefly poverty, despite their country’s richness in oil wealth and its strategic location.
The people of Bahrain are poor and deprived of their basic rights, their right to housing, pension rights, etc.
This rush to reconciliation with the Zionists is to buy off the international community so that no citizen ever dares to criticize their practices. They take refuge in the Zionist enemy because they lack legitimacy, they are separate and far from the indigenous inhabitants, and they are basically made-up colonial entities created by Britain in the late century.
These monarchies ignore and forget that the Shah of Iran was once ‘America policeman’ and a friend of the Zionists, but the will of the people has managed to topple him down and bring down the colonial schemes that were plundering the wealth of Iran and the Iranian people.
They try to ignore that the Zionists themselves are looking for protection after the escalation of the might of the Palestinian, Lebanese, and Yemeni resistance, and the insistence of the peoples of the region to liberate, preserve their sovereignty and confront all dirty imperialist projects.
