Undoubtedly, all forms of media constitute the most important means through which the intelligence services operate, especially those of the arrogant United States of America, along with the Israeli occupation entity. It possesses such a huge influence that may formulate a public opinion towards any issue. One of those is Al-Jadeed, the prominent Lebanese TV channel.
Al-Jadeed’s suspicious role is no different to the role of Qatar’s Al-Jazeera channel, which claims credibility and professionalism to mobilize the Arab public opinion with bright slogans. During the last decade, it has proven that it is merely a tool in the hostile scheme to attack the resistance. Besides, it is following the Saudi media’s footsteps with a systematic policy of misinformation, breaking taboos and insulting the resistance and its general secretary, who has brought victory, honour, dignity and pride not only to Lebanon but to the entire Islamic nation.
The channel has in the recent years led a clear aggressive campaign against the resistance and its audience, only in order to receive Gulf funds, and especially not by the beginning of the electoral season. Recently in the “Fashat Khalq” Show (could be loosely translated into ‘Letting off Steam’), presented by Dalia Ahmed, who insulated Hezbollah‘s Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah. Dalia placed him among the Lebanese leaders, who she described as “crocodiles”, who have offered nothing to the Lebanese people amid the aggravation of the economic crisis.
The channel was among the media organizations that deviated the spontaneous October 17 popular movement, in 2019, into a colorful revolution in order to achieve Washington’s interests and attack the resistance and its audience.
Al-Jadeed; Israel and Saudi Arabia
One of the basic steps taken by late Israeli Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, when he was Minister of War, was setting up a council of newspapers, radio and television’s directors to provide them with exclusive information that serve the illegitimate entity’s propaganda particularly against audiences that are not easily accessible, as part of their to psychological wars, especially those that rely on inciting fear and uncertainty among the target audiences.
For years, this channel has been claiming objectivity; nonetheless, it’s rhetoric is obviously in the lead of the attack on the culture of resistance, sponsored and orchestrated by the United States, Israel, and those who are allied with them, mainly Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The channel is one of the most prominent TV, which conceals the Saudi aggression’s atrocities in Yemen. The channel is accused of receiving millions of dollars in funding from the UAE’s Tahnoun bin Zayed, who was famous for providing financial support to media channels, politicians and journalists in return for their positions. It is also accused of receiving financial funds from the governor of the Central Bank in return of not holding him responsible for the stifling economic crisis that Lebanon is enduring.
