More than 5,000 years ago, Mesopotamia, the Levant, the Nile, the Anatolian and the Persian plateaus, formed a strategic axis, from which human civilization emerged.
By the beginning of the eighteenth century; however, the West began to dominate the world’s resources and plunder the peoples.
Both Egypt and Syria led the project of confrontation against the Western colonial project represented by the Zionist entity from the beginning of the 1950s until October 1973.
Then, Egypt gradually quited the conflict after signing the “Camp David Agreement” in 1978.
Only 3 months later, the oppressed people of the world witnessed the honourable victory of the Iranian revolution. It emerged as a global Islamic project, which polarized all the liberation forces across the world, from Afghanistan to Mesopotamia and the Levant in the west, and then to the center of civilization in the south in.e. Yemen.
Since then, Iran‘s central cause has been defending the oppressed, as well as the liberation of Palestine and overthrowing the illegitimate Zionist entity.
In 2011, with the Western intervention and Qatari-Saudi financing of Takfiri groups (from more than 80 countries), and the anti-resistance media infusion against Damascus, it was necessary to Iran to react.
Hence, Gen. Soleimani was the first to prevent the fall of Syria and to maintain its geopolitical position against the American colonial hostility.
Soleimani realized the nature of the American schemes against the peoples of West Asia, which prompted him to strategically work to turn this threat into an opportunity, in a bid to weave a bright future for the nation, far beyond the Zio-American hegemony.
Soleimani’s assertted the unity of the confrontation fronts and the resistance forces, and prompted him to mobilize these forces against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, realizing that defeating those terrorists means the collapse of the so-called “New Middle East” project, that failed initially in July 2006.
So it took him 3 years of sincere and dedicated efforts until the resistance forces were able to meet on the Iraqi-Syrian border in the city of Al-Bukamal on November 8, 2017, and achieve the great historical victory.
Today, 2 years after his assassination, writing this article wouldn’t have possible without the uncountable sacrifices of Soleimani, among many is riding us from the bloody Wahabbi threat.
